Ashotaberd
The Ashotaberd residential neighbourhood in Stepanavan was designed for families living in temporary wooden housing after the earthquake. The 16-hectare site is organised into four development blocks and includes 15 three-storey residential buildings.
Green areas connect the courtyards, walking paths, children’s playgrounds and sports areas. One building in each block includes a shelter at basement level. The project was designed by Kljyan Archi Bureau for the Urban Development Committee of the Republic of Armenia and completed in 2022.
